This past weekend has been amazing. Actually starting at the end of last week ...
Let's see ... Friday evening I was asked by a dear friend to photograph her parents 50th wedding anniversary party. Some family shots, and mostly candids to capture the feel. And the feel was love ... Their love was beautiful, for each other, their family, their friends. The time was sweet.
Inspiration for all marriages ...
Saturday I had wedding. But this one was like no other ... the bride had a vision of what her wedding would be and with dedication and hard work, she and her parents pulled off an amazing fairy tale wedding.
The location was incredible, down to every last detail. Tents had been rented incase of heat. Who knew that at times they would be shielded us from rain :) Yet despite any rain, the tents, the twinkle lights, the table decor, the dance floor, the barn with the couples names painted in a heart, the addition of Marigold Vintage Furniture ... the wedding was upscale elegance meets country shabby chic. Perfect!
To make this wedding even more personal for me, and a little crazy ... the mother of the bride and her family were mine and my family's neighbors when I was growing up in the California. She was a friend of my sisters, and even babysat me at times! I remember when the bride was born!!! Other neighbors and friends from that time were there, and most of the bridal party went to the same high school as I did (little bit later them me though!). Small town, small world ...
I was thrilled to a part of their day ...
Sunday rounded out with a lovely boudoir session for one of my upcoming brides ... A beautiful, sweet girl, who is going to a stunning bride! A family I have known and worked for many times in the past. In fact, I did her senior portraits years ago .... Can't wait for wedding ...
I love seeing clients over the years ... getting to know them and being part of lives ... :)
Now onto a day of editing ....
